Hannah Inga Korinth

Doctoral researcher at the University of Würzburg, based at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) in Leipzig, with scholarship funding by the Heinrich Böll Foundation. The doctoral project focuses on policy integration in EU environmental policies, specifically analyzing how institutional structures and power relations create barriers and potentials for biodiversity. Key research interests include the science-policy interface, policy integration, power dynamics, environmental governance, and decision-making processes, with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary approaches.

Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Politics, Psychology, Law, and Economics, along with a research Master’s in International Development, complemented by work experience in international NGOs, the background reflects strong expertise in project coordination, scientific research, and policy analysis. This includes contributions as a contributing author to the IPBES transformative change assessment and involvement in EU Horizon-funded projects such as RESPIN and DAISY. Fluent in English and German, with working proficiency in French.
