Bachelor of Arts: Political and Social Studies (PSS)

At the University of Würzburg's Institute of Political Science and Sociology, you can study both disciplines in the German-speaking Bachelor's Program Political and Social Studies (PSS) – without a numerus clausus. With the integration of Political Science and Sociology, the Bachelor of Arts Degree Political and Social Studies is designed to impart profound knowledge relevant to the fields of Political Science, Sociology and the Methods of Empirical Social Research within a six semester curriculum.

Our Bachelor of Arts Degree Program may be combined with several other fields of study and in a variety of ways. You can commence your studies every winter semester. The official enrolment period starts in July and ends in October. Enrollent takes place online and by mail – a personal appearance on site is not required.

Enrolment without Numerus Clausus

As an equal opportunity advocate, the Institute's Bachelor of Arts Degree Program has no restriction on admission in regard to grade point average (no numerus clausus). You can commence your studies every winter semester. The official enrolment period starts in mid-July and ends by mid-October.
