Goals and Members
The India Forum was formed at the Institute of Political Science and Sociology based on the numerous India-related activities.
Goals
The IPS India Forum is the umbrella for all India-related activities at the Institute of Political Science and Sociology in order to bring together researchers and students who are engaged with India. Within the framework of the forum, several publications have been published and research projects and long-term research collaborations have been established with our partners.
IPS India Forum is taking part in the ICAS:MP Centre of Advanced Studies, located in New Delhi. In addition, the project "Foundations of the Europe-India Strategic Partnership" was funded by DAAD as a cooperation project between the University of Würzburg and partners in Delhi.
In addition, the forum is a contact point for students interested in India – to exchange ideas for BA, MA or PhD theses or to prepare a research stay in India. With regular meetings of institute staff and students, guest lectures, workshops and colloquia, the India Forum aims to consolidate the institute's focus on India.
