Visiting Lecturers 2017

Dr. Soumita Basu will visit IPS at the end of 2017. She will be involved in several seminars at the Division of European Studies and International Relations and participate in a workshop organized by ICAS:MP Centre of Advanced Studies.

Dr. Basu is Assistant Professor für International Relations at South Asian University, New Delhi.

Lecture: The UN Security Council in a ‘Re-nationalising’ World: Implications for Gender Politics

Prof. Bava visited our Institute in May and will return to Würzburg in December 2017 in the context of the project "Foundations of the Indo-European Strategic Partnership", as a "A New Passage to India" guest professor and as participant of a workshop organized by ICAS:MP Centre of Advanced Studies.

Prof. Bava is Jean Monnet Professor for European Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University New Delhi. In January 2012 she was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit for her personal effort in building German-Indian Relations.

Prof. Dr. Anupama Roy visited the Institute in July in the context of the project "Foundations of the Indo-European Strategic Partnership". She is cooperating with the Division of Political Theory.

Prof. Dr. Anupama Roy is a Professor at the Centre for Political Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University New Delhi.
